A Place to Rest the Head

A Place to Rest the Head

'A Place to Rest the Head' is a collaborative exhibition of Lindsey Dezman and Jon P. Geiger at Holding House in partnership with the Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired. The exhibition explores the domestic space through re-creating objects that make up the place we call home. Focusing on the materiality of clay and the sense of touch, this exhibition reflects upon the role objects play within our lives.

Work created by the Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired was made during a series of workshops led by artists Lindsey Dezman and Jon P. Geiger at Holding House prior to the exhibition opening. The artists and Holding House would like to thank the Greater Detroit Agency for the Blind and Visually Impaired, Rovin Ceramics, Mayco, and Pewabic Pottery.
