Something Ancient

‘Something Ancient, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue’ is a collaborative exhibition of Lindsey Dezman and Jon Geiger. As a duo, the two artists explore the foundational themes of collaboration by highlighting values of unity, mergence, and harmony. For the show at Kappa Theta Phi in Richmond, VA the collaborative pair has sought the Old English wedding rhyme of “Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue’’ as the premise to the works created. The show explores the act of reflecting upon the past, optimism for the future and good fortune as well as the symbolic meaning of the color blue.
